Harvest English Institute is ideally situated on the orange and green lines of the subway at Boston’s North Station, in the heart of Boston. Our school is surrounded by landmarks, including Faneuil Hall and Haymarket (birthplace of the American Revolution), Beacon Hill (Boston’s state capital), the North End (an Italian-American neighborhood famous for its restaurants and cafes), the Back Bay (with fine-dining and cosmopolitan shopping), and the Boston Harbor, with its panoramic views and beautiful islands.
Boston is one of America’s oldest cities, but it is also on the cutting edge of the 21st century. We are just minutes from MIT, Harvard, UMass, and the East Coast headquarters of Google and Microsoft. Boston boasts an astonishing array of cultural and entertainment options, including multiple theatres, concert halls, and sports arenas. TD Garden (home of the world-famous Boston Celtics NBA and Boston Bruins NHL teams) is a 1-minute walk from Harvest, while the Boston Red Sox and historic Fenway Park are a few subway stops away. Harvest Institute’s students, staff, and teachers participate in frequent activities outside of the classroom.

Learning English at HarvestESL for international and local students
We offer high-quality, affordable programs in six levels of English, from beginner to advanced ESL, in both regular and intensive settings, which teach our students strong communication skills and linguistic knowledge. Classes include TOEFL® preparation, business English, grammar, pronunciation, writing, and conversation. Private lessons and group instruction are both available, as is tutoring.
Harvest provides flexible class schedules so that almost anyone can find a class that fits his or her schedule, whether morning, evening, all-day, or weekend, from 1-day to 5-days per week. Whether you wish to study in the USA for 4-weeks or 40-weeks, Harvest has a program for you.
Harvest students include local residents learning English, as well as global students who come to the United States to study ESL. All of our students are important, and help to create Harvest’s unique and memorable environment. We offer our students a comfortable lounge, DVD and book library, computer lab, and free Wi-Fi internet. Our student-to-teacher ratios are excellent, with small classes where every student receives individual attention. Our experienced teachers create a supportive learning environment that helps Harvest students reach their ESL goals.
Some Harvest students can receive US Visa waivers, while others are eligible to study on an F2 Visa. Harvest Institute of Boston is authorized to issue I-20 forms, as necessary, and we provide additional, helpful information for international students who want to travel to Boston to study English.

Our student services staff is committed to planning activities and ensuring our students are learning and having fun! Students at our school have access to a variety of amenities to complement their daily studies. Sample authentic Italian food in the North End, spend an afternoon taking in a baseball game with the popular Boston Red Sox, or check out a Celtics basketball game. Walk in the footsteps of history by following the Freedom Trail and find out what the Boston Tea Party is all about. Take the train or bus to New York City for the weekend, or sunbathe on a beach in Cape Cod. There is so much to see and do in and around Boston; you will wish you had more time to enjoy it all!
